Pioneers Visit to Fleetwood RNLI
Tue 17 Jun 2025On Tuesday our Pioneers children learnt about the role of the RNLI and found out about some of the recent rescues out at sea. They were reminded about basic water safety and some of the dangers that they may face at the beach. Despite the weather they enjoyed their picnic under shelter and were able to use our new litter picking equipment, kindly donated by united utilities.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Visit
Thu 12 Jun 2025This morning Year 2 and Year 6 had some very important visitors.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service very kindly came in to talk to us about fire safety and water safety.
The children represented us beautifully as always and asked lots of questions to find out more.

Explorers DT
Wed 21 May 2025Explorers have been busy designing and making glove puppets using materials and tools. They then went to show their puppets to nursery and tell stories.

Pioneers - Art
Mon 19 May 2025This afternoon Pioneers have had a great time working on their art projects. They have used mixed media to experiment with colour, texture and pattern. They have started to make stencils to put their message across in their propaganda artwork. Watch this space for their finished pieces.

Year 6 - Pig Heart Boy
Fri 16 May 2025After working so hard all week our year 6s had a great end to SATs week by visiting the Blackpool Grand Theatre to watch Pig Heart Boy.

Fri 09 May 2025Our Choir and Adventurers Class were invited to sing at the VE Day Coffee Morning at The Free Methodist Church in Great Eccleston. They sang beautifully and made us very proud as always.

Adventurers trip to see Dermot O'Leary
Fri 25 Apr 2025Adventurers enjoyed a trip to Kirkham Grammar School this morning where they met author Dermot O’Leary
They heard how Dermot was inspired to be a writer and attempted to illustrate one of the characters from his latest book ‘Spy Fox and Agent Feathers’. The children are excited to read their signed copies at home this week.
