Adventures would like to wish everybody a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Adventurers would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
We have had a lovely week getting ready for Christmas, designing stables in DT, writing a diary entry about our Christmas play and making and delivering Christmas cards around the village. The children had lots of fun wishing the villagers they met a Merry Christmas. On Tuesday the children worked very hard preparing for the Christmas fair which was a huge success. On Wednesday after delivering their cards the children enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner and had great fun at their party in the afternoon. On Thursday we had a special visitor and the children were very excited to talk to Father Christmas and received an early Christmas present. This morning the year 3 children enjoyed their fun swim, whilst at school the year 2 children watched a pantomime and played some party games.
Mrs Hopkinson and myself would like say a big thank you to all of the children for trying their best all term and are so proud of all of their achievements. We look forward to seeing all of the children's smiling faces in the new year. We also thank Mrs Riding for everything she has done to support the children and staff over her years at St Mary's, she will; be greatly missed by all. A big thank you to all the parents of Adventurers class for your support this term.
We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and look forward to seeing you back in 2023.
Welcome back to the new school year.
Adventures have had a wonderful first few weeks in our new classroom. We are starting to get used to our new routines and enjoying new subjects. Over the next few weeks we will be focussing on becoming more independant with both daily tasks and work.
Mrs Hopkinson and myself are very proud of how the children have returned to school and the effort they are putting into everything they do. Great start to the year Adventuresā
