The School Council held a bake sale and raised funds for the school. As you can see there were some fantastic entries! We held a food bank collection too, we asked the community to help us collect 200 items and as you see we smashed that total and collected 374 items. Thanks to everyone who helped.
This week the children have been learning about Remembrance Day. The children in Class One made their own poppies and took them into the village square. They shared with each other what they had learnt about Remembrance Day. In class they made some wonderful poppy pictures. The children in Class Two took part in a Remembrance Day service in the village square.
Class one are enjoying learning outside. They have taken part in different hunts for all things autumn, searched different habitats for bugs, created magic potions, picked and explored fruit from the trees and made wonderful creations using only items they have found outside.
Halloween DT/Science activity
The children had a great time working together to design and make light up Halloween lanterns with a working circuit. The children produced some wonderful pumpkins and a spectacular ghost. Here are some photographs of the children creating their amazing lanterns.
