Outdoor Learning
At St Mary's we believe that children are inspired by hands on learning experiences. That's why we give our children opportunities to learn beyond the classroom through play and exploration. This means that our children develop the confidence and self-esteem they need to become independent learners.
Our weekly outdoor learning sessions allow the children to bring the curriculum outside, whatever the weather! The sessions are linked to all aspects of the curriculum, from History and Maths to PE and Science.
In addition, the children learn about teamwork, resilience, creativity and problem solving - all whilst enjoying the great outdoors!
